2025-2026 Volleyball Season Hello, We hope you are having a great summer! Registration As we have done in previous years, we will be utilizing our on-line registration form and e-transfers for payments as we no longer have our physical mailbox and will no longer accept registrations via mail. A completed registration will involve two steps. The first step, when the registration period is open, is to visit our site and follow the League Application Form link on the main page. Fill out the form with all of the required information and submit the form. The second step is to send an e-transfer for the team fees ($550.00) to complete the registration. We are only accepting e-transfers with the password ‘volleyball’, and please put your team name with your e-transfer details so we can match up your payment and form. Please note that the teams’ registration is ONLY considered complete when we have received both the registration form from our website and the e-transfer to nblvleague@gmail.com The link to the registration form will ‘go live’ on our site starting Friday August 1st, 2025 at 9:30am until Friday August 29th, 2025 at 11:59:00pm. All League Application Forms are electronically date and time stamped when submitted and as well we can track the e-transfer times as well. We will not accept any other form of electronic form submission (ie: scan and email) or payment type. Registration must be done through our site and both parts must be received by August 29th, 2025 at 11:59:00pm. As in the past, returning teams will be guaranteed a spot, while new teams are on a “first come – first get in” to the available spots in the league. Please refer to the constitution posted on our website regarding returning teams and requests for changing divisions. As is protocol, teams will be moved up or down divisions according to the final regular season standings from last season. After registration closes, teams will be adjusted and put into divisions, schedules made and the 2025-2026 season will start the last week of September. Please remember to review the Rules n’ Regs to make sure your prospective players are eligible. We will be posting a notice for the general meeting soon. Thank you for a great season. Too many snow days but in the end it all worked out. It is time for our Spring Meeting and the information is below.

Spring General Meeting:
When: Tuesday, May 20th, 2025
Time: 7 – 8pm
Where: SJSH Cafeteria (come in the gym doors on McLeod St.)

This is an important Spring Meeting as we have many decisions to be made for next year. One member from each team MUST be in attendance at the meeting. If there is not one representative then the team will lose their default fee. All are welcome so please attend if you can.

If you are submitting a request for a change to the constitution or league by-laws, please attend the meeting so you can talk about the change.

Any requests for changes to the constitution must be emailed to the NBLVL email one week prior to the meeting as per the following:
e) Constitutional Amendments will only be accepted at the General Meeting at the conclusion of the season.

VII) The By-Laws of the league may be amended at any General Meeting, after notice of motion, in writing, has been received by email week prior to the consideration of the amendment. A majority vote of the membership present shall be required to sustain an amendment to the By-Laws.

Hello,

I would like to thank everyone for a great start to our season. It’s nice to be back on the court! We had bit of an incident this week which needs to be addressed.

As per our By-Laws on our website, “NO CHILD under 12 years of age is allowed in the school. Should a child be present, the match will not begin until the child is removed. Default rules will apply.”

We would appreciate it if all participants respect this rule for the safety of everyone.
